Store Jewelry in a place that’s dry: Avoid storing Jewelry in the bathroom,
for the constant humidity will cause erosion on the jewelry. Make sure to
keep jewelry in a place where the airflow is normal, such as a bedroom. Remove Jewelry during the night: Perspiration while sleeping and the
continual rubbing against the skin may cause the plating to fade faster. Do not use chemicals to clean Jewelry: plated jewelry is much more sensitive than metals that consist of pure gold or sterling silver. Clean your jewelry frequently in order to keep it from becoming dirty and fading out. Gently wipe down your jewelry with a slightly damp cloth and dry with a clean towel. For necklaces and chains, make sure to hold them by their clasp. Do not pull on the chain to make sure you don’t break the clasp.
